  1. PRINTER BUFFER
  2. --------------

  4. This application provides a WIMP front-end for the
  5. printer buffer module produced by Anton Carver, and
  6. provided on Careware disc 5.
  7.  
  8. To use, double-click on the !PrBuffer application;
  9. this will install the Printer Buffer icon on the
  10. icon-bar. Clicking 'menu' on this icon provides a
  11. menu with the following options:
  12.     Info         - gives information about the
  13.                    program;
  14.     Buffer size  - displays current buffer size,
  15.                    bytes used, bytes free, and
  16.                    allows buffer size to be changed
  17.                    (equivalent to *Buffer [<n> [k]] 
  18.     Flush        - flushes buffer
  19.                    (equivalent to *Flush)
  20.     No buffer    - removes buffer
  21.                    (equivalent to *NoBuffer)
  22.     Quit         - removes application.

  24. To display or change buffer size, move pointer to
  25. right of 'Buffer size' option on menu, when a
  26. window will open, showing current buffer size (k),
  27. bytes used, bytes free. To change buffer size,
  28. delete current size and type in new value; pressing
  29. RETURN will update the values in this window. To 
  30. leave this window, click on the 'OK' icon.
